T HE Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby givea public notice that it proposes to raise a Special Loan of Four thousand five hundred pounds (£4500) for the purpose of river deviation, bridge construction, road formations, and filling workjat the southern end of Rora and Taupki streets, acquiring land under "The Public Wokrs Act, 1908." engineering the tincongencies and for the repayment thereof to make an annually recurring Special Rate not exceeding three-eighths of a penny in the ! pound (8d) upon the unimproved value of the wholj of the Borough for the purpose of providing the required security and to meet the interest and sinking fund charges during the currency of pthe said loan, which will be for a period not exceeding 36J years It is proposed to pay out of the said .Loan the cost of raising same together with the -first year's inte rest thereon. P ÜBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Poll of the Ratepayers of the Borough of Te Kuiti will be taken on WEDNESDAY, the 29th day of April 1914, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., upon the proposal of the Te Kuiti Borough Council to raise a Spe cial Loan of Four thousand fivß hundred Pounds (£4,500) under the provisions of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913", for the purpose of river deviation bridge construction road formations and filling work at the southern end of Rora and Taupiri streets; acquiring land under "The Public Works Act, 1908," engineering and contingencies.
