♦ FOMENTING AN AGITATION -AGAINST BRITISH RULE IN INDIA. San Francisco, Thursday. Har Dyal, a Hindu philosopher and social refomer, has-been, arrsested and now awaits deportation as an undesirable alien. The newspapers state that an extersive investigation is proceeding throughout the United States into the actions of Hindu residents, who, it is believed, are fomenting sedition against British rule in India. Hindus promise a sharp struggle against Dyal's deportation.
