The contract for metalling another two miles of Troopers road has just been started by Mr N. C. Innps. The crushing plant has been installed at a quarry on Mr A. Christensen's property and a considerable amourt of stone has already been quarried ready for putting through the crusher. The completion of this work will not link up the metal with the stretch laid down from the Arapae end, but a furtber small loan is to be raised by the settlers to effect the necessary connection.
