WIRELESS PROPOSAL CRITICISED.

The Hon. Mr Fisher stated at Ngaruawahia yesterday the Marine Department was considering the advisability of erecting a wireless station at the Three Kings instead of a lighthouse as it was found practically impossible to place an effective light on the islands.

The proposal is severely criticised here by shipmasters.
