THE Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby gives public notice that it proposes to raise a Spscial Loan of Four thousand five hundred pounds (£4soo)for the purpose of river deviation, bridge construction, road formations, and filling work at the southern end of Rora and Taupiri streets, acquiring land under "The Public Works Act, 1908," engineering and contingencies and for the repayment thereof to make an annually recurring Special Rate not exceeding of a penny in the pound (§d) upon the unimproved value of the whole of the Borough for the purpose of providing the required security and to meet the interest and sinking fund charges during the currency of the said loan, which will be for a period not exceeding 36J years. NOTICE is hereby given that the Te Kuiii Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work, namely the opening up and using a quarry, and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken AND NOTICE is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk, to the said Council, situate in Rora street, Te Kuiti, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
