In the matter of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," "The Local Bodies Loanß Act, 1908," and all amendments thereto. mHE Te Kuiti Borough Council -1- hereby gives public notice that it proposes to raise a Special Loan of Four thousand five hundred pounds (£4500) for tbe purpose of river deviation, bridge construction, road formations, and filling work at the southern end of Rora and Taupiri streets, acquiring land uhder "The Public Workß Act, 1908," engineering and contingencies and for the repayment thereof to make an annually recurring Special Rate not exceeding of a penny in the pound (fd) upon the unimproved value of the whole of the Borough for tbe purpose of providing the required security and to meet the interest and sinking fund charges during the currency of the said loan, which will be for a period not exceeding 36£ years.
