The last issue of the Government Gazette publishes a list of newly appointed Justices of the Peace. Included in the list appear the names of Mr Mostyn Jones and N. C. Matthew of Te Kuiti. A Press Association message received to-day stateß that England won the teßt match against South Africa by ten wickets. Th« South Africans second innings produced 228 leaving England with 11 runs to get. This was accomplished without loss.
