WHITE SLAVE TRAFFIC.
JACK JOHNSON'S APPEAL. New York, Monday. In appealing at Chicago againßt Jack Johnson's conviction under the White Slave Act, the negro's attorney declared that Johnson was being persecuted unjustly, while the real traffickers went free. He said that 2000 girls were introdcued into the United States every year, and one promoter was making an income uf £20,000 ttoui the traffic.
