A DOMESTIC TRAGEDY.
MURDER AND SUICIDE. By Telegraph.—Press Association.—OopyrigHt Received Friday, 8.15 p.m. Sydnev, Friday. At the inquest on Marisi, cabled on the 16th inst, the evidence showed the wife was separated from her husband owing to the latter taking drink. He returned a few days before the tragedy. The son deposed his parents were quarrelling. His mother asked him to take down a pictrue of ' his sifter to prevent his father breaking it. His mother then stood in front of it. His father said he would sf.oot her unless she stood aside. She replied he was not game and the two fatal shots fol lowed. After the tragedy his sister's picture was found riddled with bullets. A verdict of murder and suicide was returned.
