TRAM CAR COLLISION.
MOTORMAN INJURED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, This Day. Two tram cars collided at the foot of Wellesley street last night owing to the sudden application of the brakes on a car on which the lifeguard had dropped, the car following crashing into the stationary caar. The glass in the ends of both cars was smashed and the massive iron frames bent to the ground. One motorman named H. Sucb, was struck on the head by the roof above the platform and sustained two large cuts on the head.
