NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the AwakinO County Council at its next meeting to be held on Saturday, January 10th, 1914, ii. accordance with the provisions of "The Counties Act, 1908," "The Rating Act, 1908," and the amendment thereto, to make and levy General Rate of one half-penny in the pound on the Unimproved Value of all ratable property separately within the North Riding, Central Riding and South Riding within the Awakino County. Such rates to be for a period commencing on tha firat day of April, 1915, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1914, to become due and payable in one sum on the 26th day of January, 1914.The Rate Books will be open for inspection from December 19th, 1913j to January 3rd, 1914, at the following places:— North Riding.
