STEFANSSONS' EXEFDITION

Ottawa. Monday

Members of the Royal North-west mounted police, who have returned from their Arctic posts, mentions rumours that Stefanssona and a portion of his party were marooned deliberately by the crew in consequence of dissensions and certain complaints concerning food.

It is reported that the trouble cu'imnated in Stefansson being onliged to land, leaving other members of the expedition in charge of the Kurluk.
