TE KUITI MAGISTRATE'S COURT
TUESDAY, 9th, DECEMBER 1913. Before Mr E. Rawson, S.M. Drunkenness.—James Ryan for being drunk at the Te Kuiti railway station was fined 10s or in default forty-eight hours. For using obscene language the same man was fined £2 or in default 14 days' imprisonment. CIVIL CASES. Judgment went by default in the following undefended cases :—Ormsby v. Kati Tikaokao, £1 Is—l6s 6d; same v. Tuheka, £1 7s—l6s 6d; same v. Kirikino, £1 lis—l7a 6d; Ellison v. Runciman, £l2 17s 2d—29s 6d; Gustav3on v. Flett, £36 lis—£3 19s; Hotu v. Wade', £S 10s,—31s; McColl v. Lusk, £6 Is 9d—costs 23s 6d; Fickling v. Newport, £1 3a—9s Hattaway v. Aprahama, £4 13s lid—£l 17s 6d; same v. McDiarmid, £1 2s—ss same v. Pote Pehira, £6 ss-£2 18s; Fullerton v. Gillett, £2 10s—10s. Judgment Summonses. Orders were made in the following cases: Holloway v. Kino Ahiwaka, £ll 2s 6d; Kellvv. McLean, £2l 12s; McDonald v. Tuheka, £2 18s 6d; Reardon v. Waka Waiora, £ls 16s. Collett v. Hose and Kenny, claim £6 10s for Destruction of fencing battens. Mr Sharpies appeared for the plaintiff and Mr Finlay for the defendants. The parties were Tangitu settlers. After hearing a considerable amount of evidence on both sides, his Worship non-suited the plaintiff.
