TE KUITI BOWLING CLUB.
The committee of the above club met in the Chronicle office on Wednesday evening last. Accounts as presented were passed for payment. An invitation was received from the Riverhead Club to their opening, ceremony. Resolved, that nominations for club competitions be not received from unfinancial members, and that the date for receiving nominations be extended to Monday, December Btb. In reply to a letter forwarded to the seecretary of the Dominion Bowling Association re the forthcoming tournament to be held by the Auckland Centre, the secretary state that the present position is that club 3 affiliated to the South Auckland Centre could not play in the Auckland Provincial tournament. Resolved that Mr Power be authorised to draft a letter to be forwarded to the secretary of the Dominion Association asking for a ruling from his Association upon this matter. The matter of re-laying the bowling green was discused at lengthy and it was decided |that a sub-commitfcee consisting of the president, Messrs Power and Williams be appointed to go thorouhgly into the matter and to report at a future meeting.
