<g—© Captain Amundsen has completed hi 3 crew of 14, besides his scientific staff. He is equipping the Fram with seven years' provisions. He intends sailing from San Francisco in June and entering the ice drift in September. The eo3t of equipping the Fram is £33,000, half of which has already been received. He hopse to provide the balance out of his earnings of his lectures, the sals of posS cards, photographs, and stamps. The lectures have not proved the financial success anticipated.
