A clerk returned to work, at 7 o'clock, and while standing out side heard a loud explosion. Accompanied by a passerby he entered found the place full of smoke. An attempt had been mads to blow open the door of the safe, but it; was unsuccessful.' ! The police found nothing to indicate how an entrance had been effected.
