RAILWAY TIMETABLE.
' : ♦ The amended railway timetable which comes into force on November Ist should prove of great convenience to many districts. In addition to alterations in the times of departure and arrival, several additional trains will ~be run. The time running .of several of the services has been shortened. The lines affected are Kaipara, Onehunga, and Papakura, Thames and Rctorua, AucklandFrankton. Cambridge, Frankton-Rotu-rua. Thames and Waihi, and Auckland to Wellington. The principal alterations are made in reference to the Thames and Rotorua expresses. The express from Auckland to Rotorua will leave Auckland at 10 a.m., and will take passengers for Rotorua and Taumarunui lines? only. An express train taking passenfiesr for Thames, Waihi and Cambridge lines will leave Auckland at 9.15 a.m., daily Sundays excepted. The express trains now leaving Rotorua for |Auckland at 9.30 a.m. will leave at 845 a.m. The train will arrive in Auckland at 3.55 p.m., instead of at 5 p.m. An express train will leave Thames for Auckland at 9.15 a.m., and "is due to arrive at Auckland at 5.5 p.m. The present 11.50 am. express train for Wellington will leave Auckland at 12 noon.
