BOWLING.

TE KUITI CLUB. On Thursday afternoon last pi ay was indulged in on the Ta Kuiti green for the first time this season. Four rinks were available for play and proved to be in excellent condition. A very fair number of members took part in the games and some good form was shown. The date of the official opening has not yet beers definitely decided but it is thought that the full green will be ready for play early in November. The croquet lawns are looking very well indeed, and the recent rain has uundoubtsdlv done both the bowling green and croquet lawns a great deal of good. The croquet club members hope to start play at an early date.
