EMPRESS PICTURES. The star picture for to-night's change of programme iu another of the Gaumont specials, "Back Prom the Dead." Jean Danglade, a Frenchman, wanted by the American authorities changes his identity by replacing a dead man's pocket book with his own henceforth going under the name of Jnse Ferrer. In Paris, his wife, whom he deserted thirty years before, on hearing of the death of Jean Dalglade, marries her business partner, Mr Renaud. A Bhort time after her first husband makes his appearance and demands money. The next night the goes to him in a low part of the city. When she has left him, his associates come in and demand a share. He refuses and they murder him. Madam Renaud is arrested but manageß to clear herself and returns to her husband. This picture will be supported by the lat9Bt Gazette, comedy and diamatic subjects. For next Wednesday's change of programme, "C'eopatra" will be screened. This magnificent picture is 6000 feet long and is in five acts.
