Private Sales—During the week I have sold privately at the following rates:—Jersey Hilstein yearling heifers, nice lines £4 4s to £4 ss, mixed yearilngs £2 10s, yearling steers £2 15s to £3, store cows £4 5s to £4 12s Gd, empty 2 year grade heifers £3 17s Gd to £4, fat bullocks £lO ss, nice line of 3 year steers £6 os, 'Jersey springing heifers £7 to £lO 10s, grade springing heifers £6°to £6 ss, f.m. ewes in lamb 17s 6d to lis, good lines of hoggeta 15s.
