DUBLIN DISASTER.
A PATHETIC DISCOVERY. CLEANING OUT THE SLUMS. TWENTY THOUSAND ONEROOMERS. Uy Telegvapli.—Press Association London, Thursday. A pathetic discovery was made by the men searching the ruins of the collapsed tenements in Dublin. The body of a little boy was found in a cot. with a look of terror on his tear-stained face, the hands clasping the bed clothes convulsively. The body was almost without a bruise, and it is believed that the unfortunate child died of sufi'oeavion. The Corporation Inspector in July directed certain improvements !o the tenements, which were duly carried out. The accident is ii! ; eiy io lead to an inquiry into the Dubihi slums, which are the worst in the United Kingdom. Twenty fhousatid families, npproxij mately a third of the population are living in one-roomed tenements.
