Cheese.—The market is firm with no change in prices for Canadian but New Zealand has advanced Is per cwt. Some offers have been made for finest cheese for delivery in equal quantities, from December. 1913, to June, 1914 inclusive, at 08s landed. Hemp. —The Manila market is depressed, as second hand speculators are selling- At the close of the market it was somewhat steadier. Spot hemp is fairly steady at £3l to £32, October to December £3O. January to March £3O 10s. The market for New Zealand hemp is quiet, and urices are slightly weaker.
