BOWLING.
TE KUITI CLUB. The committee of the above club met in the Chronicle oliice on Thursday evening last, when the president (Mr A. Julian) nreeided. Matters of treneral interest affecting the club were discussed at length. !f Mr Power reported that he hoped to havejeur rinks ready for play at the end of September and asked to be authorised to employ the necessary labour to get the greens ready for play. ■ — It was resolved that this authority be given. It was decided that an outlet be made for taking the roller from the bowling green on to croquet lawn. Mr Bartley was elected a member of the club. It was resolved that the paths round the green be tarred. It was resolved that the windmill be dismantled and sold. Resolved that new mats bo obtained for bowling. Resolved that committee meetings be held on the first Wednesday in month .commencinc October Ist.
