At the inquest on Donne, cabled on the 7th inst, evidence was given that the couple had a misunderstanding and the husband sunt for his boxe B on the morning u:c the tragedy. The -

wife refused to give them up and went to the shop where Donne waa workinc, armed with a revolver. She declared she did not intend to shoot and the revolver went off by accident.

A verdict of wilful murder wbb returned against Mrs Donne, who excitcalled out, "You cannot call it murder. It was not wilful murder."
