Prices are practically unchanged. Cheese.—The market is linn. No change in prices for New Zealand and Canadian. Finest English cheddar 72s to 765, lower grades 61s to 70s. Hemp.—The The market opened dull, and during the week was depressed, but at the close the demand was better. New Zealand good fair grade £3l nominal, fair sellers £27. buyer £2(= 15s; August to October shipments 5s more: fair current Manila £3l; forward shipments £OO 10s. The output from Manila for the week was 27,000 bales.

Wool—Current Bradford quotations for tops are: 3G's low crossbreds 154 d, 4.4's medium 16Ad sti's quarterbreds 22?; d, 40'g low crossbreds HO's haffbreds 10id, Oil's merinos 281 c]. The market remains firm. Good business has been done in yams, all qualities.
