ACCIDENT OR DESIGN.
SUPPOSED DYNAMITE OUTRAGE By Telegraph.—Press Association.- -Copyright Received Friday, 9.45 p.m. New York, Friday. A quantity of dynamite has been found in Mayor Gaynor'B office, sufficient to wre<*k the City Hall. Mr Gayn>r remained calmly at his desk while the police drew a cordon around. The faulty arrangement of the fUBe alone prevented a terrible disaster. Tho police believe it to be a plot against Gaynor, but another theory is that careless workmen engaged in some adjacent excavation* left the dynamite around.
