CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER. VERDICT OF NOT GUILTY. [llY TKLMUBAI'H. —VHttSS ASSOCIATION.] Palmeraton N., This Day. At the Supreme Court the charge of murder against Pete Tetou, in connection with the Raetihi tragedy, was reduced to one of manslaughter. Summing up Sir Robert Stout said it was quite reasonable to suppose accused feared Graham would kill the whole family. The jury returned a verdict of not guilty. The verdict was popularly received.
