SANITARY BY-LAWS. - REFUSE AND RUBBISH REMOVAL, A FORTNIGHTLY VISITATION of A the whole of the houses and business premises within the Borough, commencing on FRIDAY NEXT, the loth August, 1913, will be made by the Borough Council's Sanitary Contractor for the purpose of collecting all refuse and rubbish from property owners and occupiers' backyards, etc. A charge of 6d per tin of two cubic feet will be made for such services. All householders and shopkeepers are hereby given notice that they will be compelled by the Public Health Department's Officer to keep proper tin receptacles for holding rubbishy etc., a sample pattern of which may be seen at the office of the undersigned. All receptacles must be regularly placed out on the edge of the footpaths upon the days which the Sanitary Contractor will make his round" for the purpose of emptying same. By Order, F.
