NEXT WEDNESDAY'S CHAMPIONSHIPS.
In the Hamilton Town Hall next Wednesday the Waikato Boxing A-> ' j sociation will hold the fifth annual championships and the entries this year are a recor.l. Every standard ! class is well represented, and the fact ' that S. Mitchell, the welter weight champion of New Zealand, is, completing, will give the carnival a certain drawing power. The classes for Boy Scouts, Territorials and Novices are well filled, and with a '< fine team of Auckland boxers, as well as others from Taupiri, Cambridge, King Country, Hamilton and surrounding districts, the tournament should be one of the best ever held , south of Auckland. Particulars are i advertised to-day, and the prices arc : 6s, 4s, 3s and 2s. We recommend : our sporting readers not to miss this I fixture. I
