DANNEVIRKE YOUTH ARRESTED. [mi ■n:i,i:<;i(APii.—i'Rkss association-,] Dannevirke, Tuesday. A settler at Pukehinau, named Ireland, was wounded last nii;ht in the abdomen and hand by a gun shot. A youth named Clemens is in custody at Pcngaioa in connection with the affair. Ireland, it is alleged, says the wound* were indicted by Clemens. while the latter declines to make a statement.
