A young married woman named Ettie Douglas is supposed to have committed suicide by drowning herself in the Waikato"river last night. She left a note informing her uusband of her intention to commit suicide, together with instructions to withdraw a suin of money which she has in the Savings Bank. The Woman had suffered from an internal complaint for some time past. On making a search the police found her clothing on the bank of the river, and are searching the river for the body.
