A meeting of tha Pio Pio Medical Association Committee was held on Saturday last. Mr R. Boddy presided, and there was a fair attendance. Mr Boddy reported on the deputation which had waited on the Waikato Hospital Board. He stated arrangements had been made with the board to relinquish the Congregational Manse and procure a site for a doctor's residence in a more suitable position. This would be done at the .earliest possible opportunity. He further stated arrangements were in hand to have the boarding house connected with all the telephone services and tliis would enable settlers throughout the district to communicate with the doctor by day or night. It was decided that the association be registered and Messrs Broadfoot and Finlay were appointed solicitors to the association.
