On the resumption of tho Bank of New Zealand meeting Dr Knight m >ved that proceedings be taken to alter paragraph 22 of the deed of settlement so as to increase the maximum number of shares in the capital of the company which may be held by any oiic from 3000 to 6000. The motion wa» carried.
Mr Kirkcialdie moved that steps be taken to amend the Bank of New Zealand Act to increase the maximum number of proxies which any one of the proxy holders was qualified to exercise from 250 to 2000 voles. Thi« was also carried.
The meeting appointed a committee to consult with and advise representatives of shareholder on the board. . .
A motion that the term of directorship should be five years instead of two wan carried, and the meeting terminated.
