The motion wa» carried.

Mr Kirkcialdie moved that steps be taken to amend the Bank of New Zealand Act to increase the maximum number of proxies which any one of the proxy holders was qualified to exercise from 250 to 2000 voles. Thi« was also carried.

The meeting appointed a committee to consult with and advise representatives of shareholder on the board. . .

A motion that the term of directorship should be five years instead of two wan carried, and the meeting terminated.
