Carterer, the Domain orator, whom th« crowd hunted on Sunday, was remanded on a charge of addressing an assemblage in language calculated to create a breach of the peace. The police described him as rabid anarchist declaredly against all authority and who would not hesitate to assail human life. He and his , companion wen Continental Socialists, Carterer, describing himself as a Dane, denied he was an Anarchist, and favoured peace and order. The trouble arose through Chidley, who was being hunted and jeered by the crowd, seeking his protection.
