Br. Charles Luther Kloss, pastor of tin; Central Congregational Church of Ihil-idelphia, tells this story of a sinner who tried to '"break" into heaven : "lie was a stockbroker. On Sunday, howov."], he was ivooil. He still speculated in futures, hut they were eternal futures. He went to church rcsrular-y, and held himself a godly man —at least on that day. "He died and went up to heaven. At the gate St. Peter entered intq affable converse with him, while the recording angel looked up his record. During the talk the broker told St. Peter, ' After I get in I am worried, because I won't be able to get a shirt on over my wings.' Just. then the recording angel handed St. Peter the broker's record. " "My friend,' the saint said, "your difficulty will be getting a hat on over your horns.' And the 'bouncer ' was summoned, and threw the man down where the other stockbrokers go."— "Philadelphia Times."
