KING COUNTRY CENTRAL A. AND P. SOCIETY.
On Thursday afternoon last the lades' executive committee of the King County Central A. and P. Association, together with a number of lady supporters, were entertained to afternoon tea at the Croydon Tea Rooms by the members of the association. A dainty afternoon tea was provided, at the conclusion of which Mr R. M. Somerville, president, on behalf of the association, presented Mrs A. B. Jordan with a silver teapot as a token of appreciation for the large amount of good work done by her as secretary of the ladies' executive. Mrs Gadsby also referred to the appreciation felt by the ladies' committee at the great amount of useful work doe by Mrs Jordan. Mr Somerville thanked the donors on Mrs Jordan's behalf.
