ASSASSINATED IN STREET. Cr Telegraph.—Press Association.— OopyTifWU Constantinople, Thursday. Shefket Pasha, Grand Vizier of Turkey, was shot dead yesterday as he was motoring to the Porte from the Ministry for War. REAL AUTHORS AT LIBERTY. Received June 13th at 9.45 a.m. Constantinople, Friday. It is stated Shefket Pasha received warning the previous day, but did not heed it. He deprecated the adoption of special precautions for safety. Tho people arrested are mere instruments of the real authors, who are still at liberty. It is believed they plotted the assassination of the leading ministers.
