Messrs Dalgety and Co,, Ltd., report as follows: — HAMILTON STOCK SALE. We held our usual stock sale in the above yards on Thursday, the 29th ult., when we yarded 1993 sheep, 140 head of cattle, and 37 pigs. All lines of fat stock were in demand, and showed a big advance in price. Store stock was dull of sale. We quote:—Prime fat wethers £1 Is to £1 3s, 2 tooth fat wethers 16s to 19s 4d, fat ewes 15s lOd, fat lambs lis 6d to 12s 2d, store lambs 7s 3d to 9s, empty ewes 10s, 2 tooth store wethers 14s lid, fat bullocks £9 10s, fat cows £6 to £B, forward empty cows £4 10s to £5 3s, store cow 3 £2 9s to £3 2s, calves £1 8s 6<3 to £1 15s, cows in milk £4 to £5, porkers £2 15s, suckers 4s to 12s. SPECIAL DAIRY STOCK SALE. We held a special sale of dairy stock in the Hamilton yard on Wednesday, the 4th inst., when we yarded 271 cows and heifers. Most ot the heifers were in good condition and of good quality. The sale opened with a good demand; but slackened off towards the end when several buyers had filled their requirements. We quote: — Springing heifers £8 to £9 ss, 3 year heifers in calf £5 10s to £B, 2 year heifers in calf £4 10s to £4 15s, small heifers in calf and in poor conditon £3 2s to £4, cows due to calve August and September £4 15s to £7 15s, cows due to calve October and November £4 to £5 15s, cull cows £3 15b to £4 ss.
