KING COUNTRY PETITION GRANTED. Tarriamnui. Tuesday. Tho Hon. R. 11. Rhodes, Minister-in-Charge of liosptaln. received a deputation hint, night, the Mayor presiding, in furtherance of Ihn who me to form a new hospital district. Mr G. L. Winger, president. of tho Chamber of Commerce, presented a petition containing' 1 [ >4o aignaturcs, with snore lists to come in, supported by the Oliura, KaiteUe, and Taumurunui delegates, who made strong, representations. The Minister said he wan satisfied that a .good ease had been mauo out, and the putiton would he granted. There would lie no difficulty in Ohura or Kaitieke,'but West Taupe and Waitomo boundaries would require legislation, whico he would introduce as soon as the houndanc.i were agreed upon. Tho grant asked in aid [would receive favourable I'or.r.ideration, and there would bo no unnoeownry delay.
