FAT STOCK TRAINS.

The folluwing letter has been received by Mr Potts, secretary of the Waikato Graizer's Association, with respect to the conveyance of stock by rail to the Westfield saleyards: "On Tuesdays 3tock from the Thames line is brought to Frankton Junction by the train leaving Thames at 4 p.m. and arriving Frankton Junction at 8.40 p.m. "Stock from the Rotorua line is brought to Frankton Junction by the train which leaves Putaruru at 4.5 p.m. and arriving Frankton Junction at 7.45 p.m. Stock loaded at stations beyond Putaruru can be lifted by the goods train which leaves Rotorua at 12 noon and connects with the 4 p.m. train from Putaruru.

"The stock ex Cambridge branch is brought into Frankton Junction by the train leaving Cambridge at 6 p.m. and reaching Frankton Junction at 7.30 p m.

"StocK from the Main Trunk line reaches Frankton Junction by a goods train at 7.20 p.m. "The stock is conveyed from Frankton Junction by a fast goods train taking a through load and not shunting at intermediate stations, which leaves there at 9 p.m. and is timed to arrive at Otahuhu at 2 a.m. "I trust the ebove arrangements, after being given a fair trial, will be found to work satisfactorily."
