Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, report as follows: — On Friday, 16th inst., we held uur usual monthly sale in t.he Te Aroha yards; when we had a fair yarding of cattle and 150 sheep. Cow beef was dull of sale, but all other classes of stock changed hands at satisfactory prices. We quote: —Fat cows £5, empty cowb £1 4s to £3 3s, empty heifers £3 13s, yearling steers £3 ss, Jersey heifer calves 455, other calves 21s to 365, springing heiferg £5 to £6 15s, springing cows £ss, +'at ewes 15s | to 16s, s.m. ewes in lamb 5s Id. We also offered sundry timber lying round the yards, for which there was good competition. •On Saturday, 17th inst., we held oar usual monthly stock sale at Te Awamutu when we had a full yarding of sheep and cattle. Bidding was brisk throughout and all lines changed hands. We quote: —Small lambs 5s Bd, hoggets 10s, fat wethers 18s 4d, fat cows £5 10s to £6 6s, empty cows £3 10s to £4 13s, cows and calves £6 15s, two to two land a half year steers £5 6s, heifer calves 40b to 435, steer calves £2 2s 6d, bulla £3 10s to £5, heifers in calf £. r , 14s to £6 2s 6d, springing heiferß £6 10s to £lO ss, springing cowb £7 to £lO 15s.
