TIMARU WATERSIDERS' STRIKE.
WORK RESUMED. JBY TKLEGRAFII.— I'RKSS ASSOCIATION/I Timaru, This Day. The watersiders resumed work yesterday on the Union Company'-? stearcers with some free labour help in trucking. Apparently the strike ia off. though no formal statement has been made. The dispute does not concern the work on the Union boats but on boats loading meat killed by nonunionists. The employers' committee met yesterday, but as work had resumed, had nothing to do except determine to keep prepared to meet the next refusal to work vessels.
