Robert Jasper Crago wan charged at the Police Court yesterday with tho attempted murder ut Takapuna of Percy Robert Skoaten and Bertie Jarnoe Hanna. According to tho police ovidenco Crago armortod ho had paid Skeatoi? £425 for a motor car which Skeatos denied. Crago donion shooting at tho tnon. He said ho had occasion to go into fiomo scrub. While there ho heard shooting, and or) hin return to tho road «aw Skcatoß lying apparently dead, and tho other man running away into tho scrub. Crago pleaded not guilty and was committed for trial to the .Supremo Court.
