WEDDING BELLS.

ANSELL—BATE.

The marriage was celebrated at St. Luke's Church, Te Kuiti, on Wednesday of Mr Robert C. Ansell, of Napier, and Miss Ivy Bate, of Nelson. The Rev. E. S. Wayne officiated. The bride was given away by her brother-in-law, M R. Ormsby, Mr Combie being groomsman, while Miss Kidson, of Otorohanga, niece of the bride, was bridesmaid. Among those present at the ceremony were three of the bride's sisters—Mrs R. Ormsby, Te Kuiti, and Mrs Kidson and Mrs Eveleigh, of Otorohanga. After the wedding of the bridal party were entertained at the residence of Mr and Mrs Ormsby.

PETERS—MUNRO. On Wednesday afternoon, at St. L uke'a Church, Te Kuiti, the marriage of Mr A. L. Peters, of Wanganui, to Miss Munro, of Te Kuiti, waß celebrated. The Rev. E. S. Wayne performed the ceremony. The bride was given avfay by her brother-in-law, Mr Russell, of Aria. Mr Munro, brother of the bride, officiated as groomsman, and Miss Elliott was bridesmaid. After the ceremony the bridal party was entertained at Miss Hattaway's Nursing Home, where Miss Munro had been engaged as nurse for Bome time. The ÜBual toasts were honoured, and the last "Miss Hattaway and the nursing staff," was suitably responded to by Dr Mcßse.
