TOUR OF BACKBLOCKS

THE WAITEWHENA ROUTE.

The visit of the Hon. W. F. Massey to the district, which has been arranged by Mr C. K. Wilson, M.P., has now been definitely fixed. The Prime Minister, accompanied by Mr Wilson, will proceed to Matiere from Taumarunui on Wednesday next. On Thursday the Ministerial party will travel to Ohura and will leave the following day for Te Kuiti by way of Aria and Pio Pio, It is anticipated the party will arrive at Aria about midday. It is Mr Massey's intention to visit Tangitu during the trip, and after his arrival at Te Kuiti he will take the first train to Waimiha, from which place he will journey to the block. After visiting Tangitu the Prime Minister will return to Taumarunui.
