Misa Ashby, a very popular and respected teacher of the Otorohanga school, met with a rather severe accident while out riding last Saturday afternoon. The horse she was riding bolted and after jumping a ditch and Dank essayed a fence, throwing Miss Ashby heavily. Besides the severe shock, it was found that her collarbone had been broken and her forehead gashed. Miss Ashby is now confined to bed, but is progressing as well as can be expected towards what we trust will be a speedy and thorough recovery.
