Settlers in the Mairoa district Will this year begin to feel the benefits ac cruing from the expenditure of the metalling loan. The Arapae road from the borough boundary to the corner of the Troopers road is now metalled throughout, and it is antici pated the metal will be practically completed to the corner of the Mairoa road before operations a?e discontinued for the season. This will be an enormous benefit to the settlers throughout he ditsfcrict.
