The Minister was received at the railway station by Mr ° s Jones, representing the Borough Council and Chamber of c ° m ™ e * c ®' and a number of councillor*, includ rig Major Lusk, Messrs Somerv lie Walsh, Graham, and others, to « et^ r with Mr A. Scholes, chairman of the Waitomo County Council, and Us Gregg and Berry. In the same train as that which brought the Minister there arrived a large number of Otorofaanga visitors, including Messrs J. Ormsby, F. Forster, Whtye and others. In the unavoidable absence of the Mayor the Minister was formally welcomed by Mr Mostyn Jones. Immediately after arrival of the party an adjournment was made to the o ough Chambers, where the Minister received deputations. Mr 0. K. i son, member for the district, in a few words welcomed Mr Herries to le Kuiti. The various deputations were then introduced by Mr Wilson. i
