CONSUMPTION CURE.

DR FRIEDMANN'S DISCOVERY. BACILLUS FROM TURTLES. By Telegraph.—Press Association—OopyTigiit Ottawa, Thursday. A demonstration of his consumption cure has been given by Dr Friedmann, of Berlin, before a meeting of the Canadian Association for the Prevention of Tuberculosis.

Dr Friedmann asserted that his treatment had been the means of saving the lives of 300 children, who were suffering from tuberculosis in one form or another.

The bacillus employed in the cure, which is derived turtles, is stated by Dr Friedmann to be absolutely harmless. It is injected into the human system in a manner similar to that used in vaccination.

The Duke of Connaught, GovernorGeneral of Canada, who was present, referred to Dr Friedmann's discovery as one of the greatest importance.
