HON. W. H. HERRIES' VISIT.
ARRANGEMENTS FOR RECEPTION. The committee set up for the purpose of arranging for the reception of the Hon. Mr Hurries on his forthcoming visit to Te Kuiti has everything well in hand. It is expected several deputations from outside will wait on the Minister, but as yet no intimation concerning them has been received by the secretary to the committee, Mr F. E. Lamb. In order to avoid confusion it is to be hoped all those who intend waiting officially upon the Minister will acquaint the secretary at the earliest possible date.
Mr Herriea will leave Auckland by the 10 a.m. train on Wednesday arriving at Te Kuiti at 4p m. He will probably receive deputations during the evening after which he will be entertained at a banquet in the Municipal Hall. On Thursday morning Mr Herries will leave Te Kuiti for Taumarunui by the 11.40 train and will return to Auckland on Good Friday.
